On average, homes contain up to 25 gallons of toxic chemicals, mostly store bought cleaners.
I am going to give you 3 recipes for cleaners that are Eco-friendly.
#1 DRAIN CLEANER
What you need:
-1/2 cup baking soda
-1 gallon hot water
-1 cup vinegar
-1/2 a lemon
What to do:
First, pour a 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain. Then mix 1 cup of vinegar and the juice of 1/2 a lemon. Pour the mixture down the drain after the baking soda.
Wait 5 minutes then pour a gallon of hot water down the drain. The water will wash out the mixture leaving a clean drain.
How it works:
The baking soda is an alkaline chemical, so it eats through the grease and other gunk in your pipes. Vinegar is an acid that makes the baking soda foam, making some agitation to clean the drain.
